If you have an RCD that is tripping, (an RCD usually has a small yellow test button on it) it means you have an earth fault on the circuit, or one of the circuits connected to it. Statistically, more often than not, this is caused by something (like a faulty appliance) that is plugged in to one of the socket circuits, and the RCD will not reset with it still plugged in.
Try unplugging everything from the affected socket circuit, including
dishwashers and washing machines etc that may be plugged into sockets located within kitchen cupboards.
IMPORTANT : You MUST unplug, not just switch off the socket!
If the RCD then resets, you likely have a faulty appliance. You could try plugging in items one by one and
switching them on to try to identify the faulty item.
